can someone please explain to me why the hell they didn't take any of those awesome cars, I mean shit if it was abandonded I woulda atleast rolled out in something shit, or got a steering wheel or something....

From reading more, it appears they went bankrupt because of BMW somehow, and the factory was shutdown since the company that owned it didn't exist anymore.....

The factories (I guess two of them are explored in the threads) are currently being bulldozed, complete with the cars inside.

As for Honda putting them under, Honda SAVED Rover back in the 90s when they didnt know how to make engines. Most of the Rovers from the early 90s had Honda engines and it was their best time for reliability. After that they started making their own engines and they were pap.

I remember when Rover went under [we had a Rover dealership next to ours] and they INSTANTLY slashed the prices on the cars. They had £30k cars down to £12k by lunchtime. Cerrazy.
