What are some good shift knobs.....

that don't screw in with 3 allen screws like momos. I hate having to tighten them every 2 days. I want something that will stay on and feel solid. If you have pics that would be great too. Thanks.

Try checking the revies section.

I have used both the Nismo delrin knob and the Nismo GT rubebr knob. Both of them are great (although the rubber GT stays a little bit cooler during the summer).

whatever one feels great in your hand....

here's a solution to the Momo ones....since the screws gets looses with everyday driving, just get some masking tape and wrap it around the actual metal shift lever so when you put the shift knob over teh lever the screw will stay intact with the masking tape and stick to it...

I have a momo.... it's ok... I just used a little locktite and it doesn't loosen anymore!

But... at the dd6 event I saw the signal shift nob.... I loved it! You should check it out on the signal website. I don't like thier ball shift nob though. -Cheers

I have a Voodoo shift knob.. It's market for Miata's but it screws right on the 240 shifter. I think it's the perfect knob, fits just right in your hand.

I just picked up a Nismo gelaco knob from my nissan dealer. I dig it, it's so tiny. I also like the shape of the B&M knob because no matter which way I grab it it's comfortable. But aluminum shift knobs arent wise for the summer. I'm tired of getting branded from a hot *** metal shift knob!

I don't think buttplugs are just reserved for gays, my ex-GF like it when... I think that would be too much information.

Anyways, it resembles a buttplug not a dildo.

Hey nitekids how "hefty" is that shift knob? Is the nut on the top of the shift knob noticable at all when you grip it? How does it handle in the extreme temps ie hot sun, freezing cold? Personally I've been ogling the gt pro model rubber for a few days now, I figure it will be less temperature sensitive.

I have a nice leather shift knob that might be from a 95-99 Maxima(thats my best guess so far) its much broader than the stock knob and fits perfectly in my palm for shifting away from me, and a nice lip on the front for pulling it back. I have fairly big hands, so this is much better than the stock knob, plus it was only 15 bucks with a shift boot from a junkyard.

^ I suck at taking pics

Edit: Oh yeah, its Nissan, so it just screws right in!

it seems the concensus is "ball" like shift knobs are best. i'm trying to get a nismo "dildo" shift knob. how big is the nismo shift knob compared to the voodoo? also, does the voodoo get really hot during summer?

dorifto, if you're gonna sell your shift knob, i'd be interested

Unfortunately, like most metal knobs it does.. I had the Greddy knob before this one and it seems the polished design sucked up more heat.. but that could have been just mt imagination.
