bellhousing bolts

alright, i have searched but i'm just trying to clarify..

i still have yet to get m/t bell housing bolts from a hardware store.. since i can't re-use the a/t bolts since they are too short... how many bolts do i need to go buy in longer lengths? 6?

ahh i managed to get one of the a/t bellhousing bolts off visible from the engine bay, was a pain getting it out but i got it.. damn they are alot smaller than i thought... ok so would i just take this bolt to a hardware store and ask for the same exact size except different lengths..?

M/T Engine / Bellhousing Bolts

Bolts = 08131-0601A / 60mm length / 4 needed

Washers = 08915-2401A / 4 needed

Bolt = 08131-0701A / 70mm length / 1 needed

Washer = 08915-2401A

Bolts = 08124-0301F / 35mm / 2 needed

Nuts = 08911-2401A / 2 needed

Bolt = 08124-0601F / 65mm / 1 needed

Nut = 09811-2401A / 1 needed

Bolt = 08071-0251A / 25mm / 1 needed

Starter Bolts = 01121-03751 / 95mm / 2 needed

as for the nuts and washers, does my a/t have those already? or should i purchase those too?

from what i counted .. i need to purchase 11 bolts in those lengths, but the same width as my a/t bolt right?

its gonna be better to just order those parts at any nissan dealership just show the those part numbers and how many of them do you need. i got mine from a dealership and it only cost me 20 bucks..

thanks shade, i would go to the dealership but theres a hardware store around here that would sell those bolts for like $8 bucks probably

My dealership refused to sell me the bolts, hardware store bolts require a bigger socket than the nissan bolts making everything a tighter fit than it needed to be

Just put some bolts on my RB swap, I think there's 5 or 6 of em, m10 x 1.5 x 60mm long.

They're all M10x1.5. You don't need the top two bolts unless you like to struggle a lot, and the lower ones are all useless unless you're putting the lower engine gussets back on, which I never do. That leaves the two starter bolts and a total of four shorter ones, one below the starter, three on the exhaust side. The nuts in question are used for the lower bolts since the bellhousing is only threaded in one hole.

Those lower gussets are pointless, just clutters shit and makes shit heavier. I do the same and I have no problems.

Finally I hear something about that, I didn't put them back on and my father has bitched ever since that the motor with torque the tranny lose and the driveshaft will come through the floor and kill me. I can tell him to shut up now

Yes you can. They're designed to keep the transmission from coming up into the firewall in a frontend impact. But honestly if the hit is that bad, the least you're concerned about is a protruding transmission into the heater core.
