u dont have to open your hood everytime. u just have to double click the button that u cut the brown wire for.

didn't do one yet. my car's still in the shop. putting in my RB. i might do the 1st one and route the switch all the way in my panel so i don't have to go open my hood everytime i wanted that look.

i suggest the first one, but i dont have the first relay box so i cant do it. so i have the second one going for now. the only thing that sucks about the second one is that u cant run with your lights on. but if u dont care about that then i would do the second one.
