    Hey,

Thanks for the interest about my KA setup, you should've brought your 240sx out!

Basically, I've stayed KA in the over 5 years I've been doing events from autocross to drifting to road racing and not once have I had an engine failure or problem *knock on wood*.

The stuff i've done are mainly bolts-ons i.e. Intake, Exhaust, Headers, JWT ECU, pulley, etc. along with a lil tidbits here and there to eeek out that extra power.

The important thing to note is that the KA is a torquey motor SO what I did in order to keep the good midrange punch the KA has along with giving it the ability to rev up to 7k was to select a cam that gave the engine a good broad range of tractable power that wouldn't sacrifice the low-end too much.....SO, enter the BC stage 2 cams.

The BC Stage 2 cams woke up the KA greatly because it allowed the motor to rev past the 5500rpm mark where power usually falls flat with any KA. I'd recommend those cams because of the cost vs. performance ratio and that they're the least aggressive out of the cams you can select from (JWT, PDM, etc.) and plus VERY streetable.

Other than that, I believe that keeping the KA helped me become a better driver as well as helped me save on any repair costs or maintenace that would arise from a more edgier and wilder engine setup, i.e. KA-T or SR.

Anyways, I guess I've said enough for now...lemme know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks,

    Jon
