I plan on going with the pro kits myself. When I do mine in a month or so, I plan on getting Tokico gas shocks/struts. As for experience, I haven't gotten them yet...but the install (if that's what you are getting at) should be pretty simple. Just do the rent-a-tool from autozone to get the spring compressor. As for the shocks and struts, they are pretty basic swaps...need more detail, you might want to pick up a chilton's.
