Whoa, this game of telephone is getting out of hand. I feel that I should clear things up, and maybe this'll be a useful thread for people in my shoes in the future. Anyway, let's see. I got pulled over by CHP just after the 605 merges onto the 210. There wasn't too much traffic, so I wound it up a little and cruised on over to the fast lane. As I was moving over, I saw a CHP in the corner of my eye, so I slowed down to 65 and just cruised. After a minute or two, the CHP got behind me and stalked me for a good mile or two. He was probably running my plates, or just waiting for me to screw up. I didn't screw up, but then he flashed the lights, so I abided, knowing I did nothing wrong. Turns out, he pulled me over because my car is "too loud". I was polite, and gave him my info, and he gave me the ticket, and told me that, YES, it is correctable, and that I just have to go to the court and pay 10 bucks. He didn't specify what about I had to correct, so that's why I started this thread, to see what others had to do to get the ticket taken care of. The only reason I would guess that a cop would mark it "non-correctable" is maybe he's having a bad day? who knows? At any rate, I'm going to buy a quieter, more inconspicuous exhaust, paint it black, and see if I can get cleared. I'll update when I get this all squared away. Wish me luck, haha.
cheers,
C
