I have bone-stock 93 hatch with the stock KA-DE, and there's blue smoke in the exaust, and smells like a two-stroke so i know it's burning oil. It's been sitting for some time, and i'm not too sure what the problem is. There is oil under the car, so i'm going to replace the oil filter and oil pan gasket. There's other stuff i have to do as well (timing chain rattle, bushings), but the oil problem has me a little worried. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else could be causing the burning oil?
