Ok, first off guys the waiting list for the GTR is already filled. I.E first year production run is pretty much called for already. Why do I know this? I have a friend who got on the list. Second off anyone who believes what the guys testing a prototype in New Mexico has to say is on crack. They are going to make a lot of speculative remarks and the Japanese guys do not want to think the export version will be as nice. From what I have heard the engine is so open to tuning its not funny. The base HP figures they are announcing for the car are pretty much that. BASE HP! That engine is probably out of the box gonna be a easy tune to 500-600hp.
The car already has enough of a mystique to sell. I had a friend ask me about it this morning that used to be in the Japanese engine and trans business. He now owns a real estate mortgage company. He would buy one.
It will sell.
