thanks for the information but like I said up top my friend left me his car, so Im not looking to put anymore money out of my pocket into his car than I have to.
Well luckily in november dmv had grace on me and gave me an extension through march to get the car smogged. And since Ive been working crazy hours since then I just now had time to trouble shoot the problem. It was the slave cylinder that had gone out. I replaced it and bled it like S13_gearhead said to and everything is working fine now. Thanks everyone for your help..........now I just have to figure out why it wont smog. Gotta love friends that drop their cars off for you to use, just to find out you have to work on it and put more money into it than your own 240
