seriously you fail in life if you can't do anything without the above type of over self examination.

Dave: LOL! It's called "projecting"... and most people grow out of it shortly after puberty

Hmmm.... LOL
Oki-Drift: as the only person to post (so far ) from the PacNW, I can tell you taht things 240sx related cost more in up here by I'd say 20% at least when it comes to finding a chassis.
Given that the description on craig's list is about as vague as vague can be, I'd definitely treat it as such. The car isn't worth squat til there's proof (your own inspection, or your mechanic's, upkeep paper trail, etc) of it's worth. When I got my first 240 in 2000, it' was a 91 LE, and I overpaid ($3500 for perfect mechanical cond., 3 smallish/med. dents, and 110k), it's 7 years later and depreciation follows. If it was in tip top shape, I wouldn't pay more than I did back then, especially with 180k on it.
Don't use socal prices as a benchmark, it's a totally different market. they will always be cheaper just becuase that's where the industry is, and where the main target market is, resulting in a higher general knowledge of 240's (and more savvy buyers and sellers).
