i think what your referring to is when you ppl in the car with their laptop....thats them tuning their cars....i believe AEM and other companies provide tuning programs that allow you to hook up your EMS or whatever to your laptop and tune it that way.However, I wouldnt recommend attempting to tune your car yourself...way too many things you can mess up if you have no experience. Leave it to the pros, they should have the laptops and all that anyway
