Wrong again. The point was to make at least 1 other person happy/laugh/release endorphins/something nice. It happened. Ask NervGS. He seemed to like it. Wrong again? I don't see how I was wrong to begin with, but that aside, no one here claims to be a "drifter" your comments seem misplaced everywhere, and this is no exception. You made 1 person laugh, and at least 6 others thought the post was dumb or at the very least (in my case) poorly executed. if you had said "hahaha, sorry bad joke, but i thought it was funnY" or something to that effect, no one would have gotten on your case, but you seem intent on saying that it was a great "trick".

c'mon this is really reaching. what would mousing over the link have done? shown that it went somewhere else besides the url listed? it was some ambiguous personal webspace site with an embedded swf. Mousing over tells you precisely jack shit. it didn't go to some animated gif that said, "YoureANIdiot.gif" or something.

There are NO ways of seeing/hearing tone of voice, body language, eyes, facial expressions, or any other emotional descriptors.
I have no doubt that you know what you meant with your post, but with as little text as there was, people are going to take it however they feel at the time. The smilies are all we have to determine these things. Apparently all this bickering is one giant miscommunication, I'm just saying you don't need to compound the issue by trying to force your point across... catch more flies with honey kinda thing...
