It is very important they read and follow these instructions:

If they had already installed the parts, their mistake is probably trying to adjust toe by turning the buckle. They need to adjust toe the usual method, by turning the inner tie rod.

Make sure they follow the torque specs from the instructions, if the shanks are overtorqued it is much more likely for them to snap...
