the only kids for a small block inside of an rx7 i know are for FC3S (86-91) 2nd gen rx7's.
i say go for it, it shouldnt be WAY too hard (much smaller engine, but not way too small, it should make your weight a tiny bit more biased towards the rear, making it closer to 50/50 weight dist. also, a series 5 (205hp, 89-91 rx7 turbo2) is only about $800 for full kit, $1000-1200 with trans and rear end and all. they can make a 68hp gain just on a full turbo-back exhaust system. once you get it in there, a replacement is cheap. very great engines, they even have a twin scroll turbo so they spool up real fast
