Ummm, yeah. By a freaking LOT. The B&M is the king shit of shifters for the 240. Buy one. But don't come crying to me about the fact that it makes a swirling noise all the time. It's just the sound of the gears meshing together. The vibration comes right up the shifter shaft and finally buzzes out through your shift knob. Don't complain. It's worth the noise for all that precision.
Only caveat:
Install is a BIATCH with the tranny in the car. Took me 3 freaking hours! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':devil:'>
