Yeah....I second that about monitoring the oil.  I drove like 85mph for like 8 hours straight (minus stops for food and gas)...and I checked my oil soon afterwards....and it was VERRRRY low.  I drive about 80mph for 20 miles....to and from work....and I seem to be about a quart low every month and a half......then again...I also have like 150,000 miles or so...but it still runs strong.
