OK, let me clarify.  My autometer gauge is not accurate, but it is fairly precise.  Not accurate, in that it's not adjusted directly to ZERO when off.  But precise in that it reads the same pressure consistently, which is why I'm content with it.  Maybe when I have more money falling out of my ass, I'll buy another, better one.  But for now, it does the job just fine.  I just have to remember that 24 in/Hg on the gauge is actually just 21-22, and 6.5 psi is actually more like 7.  It just reads a little low.  I could take it out of the pillar mount and "adjust" it again, but it's fine for me.  The only thing you do NOT want to do is use it to fine tune.  But all I have it for is to make sure I'm not spiking or getting horrible vacuuum.  See, if a wastegate actuator hose pops off, you'll get TONS of boost...so just let off the throttle.  And the Autometer will tell me that no problem.

And you WILL be able to trust it to tell you if you're at 4 rather than 5 psi.  It's good enough.  Trust me.  It's just not the shizzle like the Greddy/Blitz/Defi are.
