It has to be spliced into the stock harness for indicators, warning lights, fuel level, etc... Defi supplies the crimp type splices but I soldered/heat-shrink all the connections. That took me about 3 hrs, excluding the time it took for me to translate the instructions...

Hi Jon!
I prefer the AIM for a race car, especially if you use a CAN bus or serial connection direct to the computer (eg. Motec, AEM, etc), makes for a super clean install. But for a street car the DSSC is a cleaner install because it has all the indicator lights and fuel level gauge built in.

Yup definitely not easy to get a hold of. Looking at the serial number on this unit, there isn't a whole lot of them in existence either.
