The belt moulding on the door is secured by a single screw at the back edge, above the door handle, remove it and life carefully, there's three clips across the door's edge. Helps to have the mirror off already but it's not required.

The driprail moulding is screwed in, pull the door opening weatherstrip down and you'll see the screws.

The rear window moulding snaps into place along the top and sides, the lower trim is screwed down. Usually when you pull the moulding it's damaged, so expect to replace it, or the better idea is to heat a run a stiff piece of wire under it, that will lift it off the body and allow you to paint underneath it. Same goes for the quarter windows, they're bonded to the glass and glued in, easier to just lift the moulding and paint underneath unless you plan to replace the glass.

good info projectrdm...im planning on doing the same thing to prep my car for paint
