You'll have to excuse him. Well, all of us. in the past year the 240sx has gotten really popular. Not only do alot of people not like this, but the questions you are asking get brought up every 5 days or so. You can find alot by searching.
That said, there are quite a few different 240sx's. They can weigh from 2,600 to a hair over 3,000 (convertible, loaded up, right?). Different styles and generations were offered. Try

Finding parts is pretty easy. Lots of support here and off shores. Search for some shops.

It's not a drag car, it's more geared for twists and turns. If you insist on running 13's, I am sure that can be done with a heavily modded SR or KA-T. I wouldn't know though. Again, the answer lies in the search button.
For boost? Iw ould say SR and not KA, but that is a holy war. Check the thread in the FAQ forum.
Also, if you want traction, get an after market LSD or try (good luck) to find a factory VLSD.
