You want a sealed box for the best frequency response.

check out the spec sheet on your sub, it should specify the dimensions of airspace required.


PS - what type of amp is it? "300 watt" doesn't mean a god damned thing!!! I'll build you a 1000 watt amp for $30.00


(Unless you have a computer assisted design system and a degree in acoustics - hence the impressive frequency response of the alumapro BP-series bandpass subwoofer enclosures)
