rant There are two types of porsche owners. The guys who just wants status street car types and the hardcore racers. Porsche hardcore racers do NOT fuck around. My buddy who has more money then I don't know what, will drop 40k on his engine alone which has a life rated in hrs, yes hrs not miles, just to get an extra second or two at the glen. Yet he paints his 911 himself with a harbor freight paint gun.

He says why waste money on paint when you can buy race tires. He drives a diesel truck daily and you would never guess he was a porsche guy until you brought up racing of some sort.
eulalia I agree with you I respect the guy who builds and mods his car vs the hippie who thinks his (insert sports car) he just bought is going to hang at the road coarse.
Don't get me wrong if you are not going to track your car and just want a good looking car for the street you can't go wrong with a caymen and the like. It's just not me, to me it makes no sense to have a sports car for the street. I only run hard from 3:30am-4:30am couple nights a weeks in the mountains 45min from my house. Other than that the only place I can run hard safely is at the track. So unless you plan on doing the above you are only buying your sports car for status(that is fact), nothing wrong with that but to me it just seems like a waste. Yes I ride a pedal bike to work year round and have a wife so maybe that why a street sports car makes no sense to me. /rant

what were we talking about. lol sorry about my sports car rant.
Your buddies caymen really does look great my evo is the same color combo. Like said already though the wheel/rotor ratio looks way off.
What size tires is he running?
