No no no no!! Don't wire it to a fuse to be constantly on. Spend those $16 and get your self a thermo sensor. Reasons for this: First of all, i dunnow what you are using, but i am using the 14" permacool fan that flows almost 3000cfm. When the thing is on, my wheel starts shaking like a crazy mofo. And the fan is on ONLY when i hit traffic on a sunny day. I dunnow your weather specs, but i live in MD and my fan wasn't on since mid december.
Now for the wiring: I wired it to the fuel pump fuse inside the cockpit. It then ran throught the sensor and through the fan after what i grounded it. The setup is working fine since about mid october.
