basically in a hearing about Iraq, Ron Paul asked Gen Petraeus a bunch of questions to get them on the record and asked one that he had time to answer. the one question he gave him time to answer was whether it was within the authority of the administration to attack Iran without approval from congress. the General punted as he should have.
