sounds like its time to trace some wire bro. As screwed as it may sound its the only real way to make sure. I mean you can take a volt meter and test resistance in each wire on your service position button and that will give you a better idea as too which wire is failing or grounding, but in all reality I would just trace the group of them from the back of the button all the way to the fuse box and im sure you will find the problem.
