Everybody stop right now and read this. Wheels turning auto + engine off = heat = fire
Never ever tow the driving wheels of an auto car on the ground, even if it's in N. Doesn't matter.
Best way is a flatbed. Second best way is to pick up the front and disconnect the driveshaft if auto. Third and barely acceptable way is to pick up from the back, but this is not stable at high speed and long distance.
