If you're talking about underneath the dash, the two nuts that adjust the position of the pedal on the rod (1 in front and 1 behind) are at the very end of the threads, meaning that they are as close the the back of the car as they can get. When the pedal is pushed the rod still moves in, and there is play. Meaning the pedal isn't free sliding then engaging the rod at half stroke. Will tightening the nuts, thus moving the pedal further down the rod, solve my problem?
