Although the last two-part episode wasn't that great, I think South Park has been actually getting better compared to a few seasons ago.
In my opinion the show was at its worst during its long streak of completely "unrealistic" episodes, about going into space, magic, working for the government, Mr. Garrison is a woman, and etc.
The new episodes have been more down-to-earth, which I like.
On the other hand, the new Family Guy seasons are complete garbage. Peter's voice is really annoying now, he acts like a child, Stewie talks too much and acts gay, the entire family openly hates Meg, Quagmire has been overly exploited, and so on. I miss the old episodes, when Peter actually wanted to be a good family guy, but was a screw-up. I hope they eventually go back to their old ways as well.
