if you left the slave cylinder connected to the line, you don't have to bleed the clutch.
BUT its been my experience that if it was your stock slave cyl it probably wasn't in the best shape, and the extra strain of a new clutch and pressure plate (I bumped to stage I clutch, too) will ruin the slave cylinder.
advance auto sells replacements for like 15 bucks, or you can get a 2 or 3 dollar rebuild kit.
so, no biggie. however, if you disconnect it you will need to bleed it. and you will need two people.
