Many people start off where you are, or even worse. Can't expect these 20 y/o to not have any problems.
At least you know what the problems are so maybe you should start from there?

Even though you said you got screwed by the buyers, its partially your fault for not closely examining the car before you bought it.
If you knew the problems existed, you could have 1.) Rejected the offer 2.) Asked to lower the price or 3.) Not complain about it later on like you are doing now.
Nope, not asking for someone to come fix it for me, just bitching while I ask for an easier way to get the hood open. Turns out I got it just by forcing it open with a crow bar.

Yeah I know I should have looked for a better car. Half the stuff that was wrong with it I didn't know about until I got it. Simply because I didn't bring a set of tools to start ripping into this car on the lot. Ya know?

Anyways once it stops raining(No indoor garage at my place) I'll hit the sparks with some PB blaster and try and crack them with a breaker bar.
Then I'm spraying some rust stopper on the spots until I can properly fix them with a sawzall and a welder. Then maybe I'll head to a junkyard to find a cluster wiring harness to go with the extra analog cluster I picked up.

Also I'd rather stab myself in the foot with a steak knife then listen to the jonas brothers for 10 seconds.
