i mean you spent some $$$ for a sick ass cage and all, just to half ass on the spray can choice
I think the paint on the cage looks phenomenal, especially in person. The anodized blue is very nice. Most importantly, the cage is not for looks, but function.

Either way, you got a good basis to build from and you're almost where I tihnk you should be. Good suspension, fresh chassis and not an overkill in power.

P.S. If you were boosting less than 6psi with the sidemount, its cuz your turbo was trash, my sidemount is awesom at 7psi and works great til a about 11 then it heat soaks
I have only been at it for a year, but trust me I am better than some who have been doing it for 3-5 years. I am a really fast learner and have been driving and flying my whole life. I will actually be entering the Formula D Pro event qualifier in Vegas this year in July, so the work I have done is completely within reason to my driving ability. I needed to get the car Formula D legal and fairly competitive. In fact, I already have an engine rebuild and larger turbo planned for next year.

here are a few more pics and a video link form this past weekend.

New part to be installed this weeked:

Full Race Manifold!!! I have to pull the turbo because I forgot to install the oil restrictor on my turbo oil lines, and since i have to pull the whole thing I decided to get the mani as I got a really good deal on it. Brand new it is $949 i paid much less from Forrest so I had to scoop it up. I also just ordered a Greddy 3" turbo elbow since that was stock too and the exhaust is 3". I decided to go with the Trust/Greddy one cause of the flange to separate the wastegate form the exhaust which I am told helps to reduce turbulence and increase flow, plus I ahve a lot of other Greddy stuff so why not.

Right now I am sourcing some black braided lines to install my new Sard FPR with AN fittings. I also got the pressure sensor for my sbc i-color boost gauge so I can read the fuel pressure in the cabin, and will still use the one under the hood for adjustments.

Last, I need to put in the steering rack bushings. I wish I would have opened the box for them sooner and saw that they are slotted and slide right over. for some reason I thought the tie rods had to be disconnected and then they went on. I wuold have done this much easier a few weeks ago when the motor was out. Live and learn.

I will post pics of all this as the work gets done.
