I would remove the stock BOV or permanently seal it off, reading that you have another BOV in the system, the stock one generally creates a vacuum leak and symptoms like you are describing. Another thing I suggest doing is verifying your vacuum lines. Make sure they are all run the right way and there are no leaks.
An SAFC can help you adjust how much fuel and when. It can also be used to fool your computer into thinking it has one MAF when you are using another. It's best use though is for managing your fuel.
