BTW, there really is no way to describe the taste of a Black and Tan, if you haven't tasted the two beers included. I typically reserve B&T's for St. Patrick's Day, while all the posers are sipping green dye and Coors Light. There is an art to the proper pour of a B&T, and yes a spoon is required. I know many people will make them with Guinness and Bass Ale, but I prefer Harp. It has a better flavor to me, and it's made by Guinness Brewery, so it's only natural to use it.

I dont really like dark beers, but im open to try them cause there could be one out there that could change my mind.
