You can get 225/40/18s in great tires, just not in a 35 series.
Side note, maf sensor randomly decideing to stop working = not owners fault usually. Im assuming it had something to do with the nearly 20 year old sensor but no biggy, I got another one on it and its good to go.

-595ss suck on fronts, especially 215/35/18
-no one makes a sticky tire in 225/35/18
