Yea either cut and solder in a new clamp (I'd measure with a string or something because most of the universal clamps don't fit right either) or get a spacer but none of the parts stores around me sell battery terminal spacers any more I chopped off my battery cables - got a couple 4 gauge straight copper tube lugs (Look like these) - heated them with a blow torch, slowly filled them with rosin core solder and stuck the stripped cable in and dipped them in water real fast to set them. Then I got terminals with wing nuts and tightened all my cables down that way. It makes it alot easier to power aftermarket parts that way also.
