A friend of mine (my roomate) has a decked out Prelude (99), and he's saving up for a turbo for it. Lude's handle very nice, and are smooth fast cars. Good styling too. The 5th gen prelude (97-01) come with about 195 hp at the crank. (about 155 ft-lbs of torque). With all his mods now, he dynoed 178.3 hp (at the wheels) and 141 ft-lbs of torque. Not to mention it has alot of custom body work, and a nice custom paint job. (Here's some pics, and a mod list if ur interested: http://www.hondaprelude.com/setups/setupsdsply.asp?id=10306
His other car is a 94 Ls integra (daily driver). And, you guessed it, ls vtec head swap. Just the swap itself will get about 190hp at the crank. He has intake, header, exhaust, pulleys, intake manifold, VAFC, and an aftermarket ecu. He's probably getting about 240hp at the crank.* You can get a used gs-r head and put it on a ls for about $1500, but you will need all new headers, intake manifold, etc. So realitically, you might as well by aftermarket parts, so it really ends up coming to about $2500+.
Also, bear in mind that all the stock hoses, gaskets, etc will need to be replaced to handle the extra pressure. (Trust me, he learned the hard way )

*This may sound high, but one of the ls motor's weak points is its air flow system, so I H E will get very nice hp gains. He has not dynoed it.
