Not quite sure about the area you live in, but in the bay area, if you can't get a job you aren't trying hard enough. There isn't a city in silicon valley that doesn't have a store, company or restaurant hiring. You've either built up your pride so high that you won't take another fast food occupation, or you are a lazy fuck.
Hell, even illegal immigrants can get jobs in the area I work in, none of them having completed highschool or higher education. Well, you might say, they're willing to work for lower wages... Then get your ass in gear and work for an equally low pay until you ind pne that pays higher.
