You are not the one at fault and they OWE YOU, not the other way around, if they keep dicking with you tell them you will get in touch with your insurance company and their lawyers will be contacting them shortly (which they will as long as you have full coverage).

If its not your fault, you are liable to get every penny from them to get your car to its original condition (before the accident) unless they are willing to pay you extra to "total" the car, I'd just take that for extra cash. Take plenty of pics of the damage for future reference incase you decide to sell and buyer wants to know why its salvage.
