Okay, the passenger seat is plenty big enough. For starters, she's already in it; you can just reach over and recline it all the way back for her in the same motion you used to get out of the driver's seat. It isn't tough.
As for air, like someone mentioned earlier, that is a definate must. But, with the power sunroof stowed, you're good to go. And that's so easy to open, you can even reach up with a free arm to get it only once you remember just how quickly you're going to consume how little air is in there to begin with.
One comment was made earlier about the center console being too large to reach over for, uhm, well. Point is, I havn't seen anyone have any trouble. All of this refers to a '91, though. Things might be rougher in a newer one.
Anyway, yeah, the 240 is challenging in this area, but by no means impossible. You want impossible, I'll show you impossible (see avatar). At least my bed's about the same size as that entire frame though.
