So after my car warms up there is a distinct clapping/slapping/weird noise being made from the clutch without pressure on it.

Mainly after shifts when releasing clutch once warm and then coming to a complete stop and idling down. It only takes a tiny bit if pressure on the clutch (till it gains resistance/no cable slack) to get it to stop...but once you release it comes back and is very annoying if idling very long.
