Anyway I was wondering what kind of shoes I should look into. I have flat feet so a lot of shoes seem to be a bit uncomfortable. Right now I run with some NikeFlex Air shoes. They are decent but not as comfortable as I would prefer.
Also any strategies on keeping my throat from burning lol? Its one of the big reasons I can't keep a steady pace. I also run with the android app "Cardio Trainer." Its pretty convenient for your running routes and keeping track of like an exercise regimen. Also logs your calorie loss.
Anyway thanks for any help.

Your best bet would be to go to a dedicated running shoe store, they are usually very helpful with getting you the kind of shoes you need. Some are higher priced than others but many of them are really dedicated to helping you pick the right shoe versus trying to make a quick sale. Heck I had a lady that did my initial fitting and monitored how I landed and she recommeneded me a specific kind of shoe, and she referred me to a website that had them cheaper than she'd be able to do; that is dedication to the sport, I still went with them for other stuff though because of awesome service.
