So I guess I'll bump this thread with a question of my own. I put a Kaaz 2 way LSD in my car this past saturday, set to 80% lock per Kaaz's recommendation with what I was going to do with the car, and I'm having a bit of trouble getting used to it.

I've learned to drift somewhat with an open diff, which pretty much required a lot of speed and really "throwing" the car, along with lots of clutch kicking to really get it to stay sideways, and I'd gotten pretty good at doing so with what I had. Now that I've got this LSD, I'm finding that the car takes more or less the same amount of a flick or clutch kick to get it going, but it comes out a lot faster and harder than what I'm used to, and as a result, my mental "programming" for countersteer is late, and slow, not to mention kind of frantic as I try to keep up.

I'm assuming I just need to take this somewhere where I've got a nice open area and really get a feel once again for what the car does, and reset my muscle memory for what I need to do when initiating a drift. Keep in mind I've only been driving on this LSD for 2 days or so.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any kind of tips to offer me, or if it's really simply a matter of just "doing it" and getting a feel for it.

I spun out for the first time today in a very long time (not including track driving) and it's kind of reset my limitations of what I felt comfortable with doing. Kind of made me stop and realize that I needed to figure this out before I ate a curb or something.
