well look at it like this. you're going to be adding weight with a roll cage bigger tires and stronger drive train so starting with fiberglass is a great idea. no to cf, it's mostly for show or strength and where you're putting those parts don't require any strength adding. do those and fiberglass doors, trunk and lexan windows will save you quite a bit. if you do it all you could save up to 100lbs or so. so yes they do add up but 1 or 2 won't be significant. good luck sir. plus you need to do a build thread if you do this. we dont see many drag build threads.
