Honestly If you really want a 240 look for a really clean one.
here is a bit of a check list to help further guide you on your journey.
1. make sure it has not been molested (Take someone who has automotive knowledge and has a few cars, and some idiot who claims to know all about cars because he watched inital d and drove and did a oil change on his dads vett)
2. Clean title is always a good sign also carfax is now free use it doesn't hurt.
3. When calling or meeting with the seller be observant of them and it will tell you about there car. Maintenance records or receipts always good so you know things were done right ( I preferably would look for older sellers elderly in specific they tend to take the best care of cars if you find a original owner and price is right jump on it.
If you find one within this chances are you can have a clean 240 that will be reliable and not give you to much head ache just take car of it and keep it in top shape at all times and you will love your car slowly mod it or whatever your plans are with it
bottom line find and nice clean car and enjoy and be proud of it!!
