sr is al aluminum, ka has cast iron block. KA head flows better. And there's no replacement for displacement...when both engines are built i mean. In stock form, ppl say the sr will handle 450 whp...that's pushing it IMO. I think tha KA will handle 300whp on stock internals if it has low mileage.
