I have an extra fuel sender that i need to use because my old one is rusted out. On top of the sender, the wiring is all ripped out. Can i just remove the caps where the wiring goes into and is sautered to and wire it straight to the pump with the harness and plug the holes with jb weld or do i have to find a new sender. Does anybody know if the cap things are resistor or something?? Here is a picture of the ripped out wires:
