I'm pretty darn sure that you can tell if its auto or manual from the VIN. (I had a link to a page that showed how to read vin number and find out all about the car, but I seem to have lost the link <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> ) But chances are the dealership won't notice unless something major goes out in your car.
