Any one who 'hates' any religion is not truly a liberal, they are just as close minded as a bible toting 'Christian' who preaches creationism without giving evolution a second thought. Opposing gay marriage doesn't translate to a hatred for homosexuality either, they may simply not want the word marriage applied to the union. Religion shouldn't control what political party one votes for...
