race fuel goes up to 116 octane. More interesting than the octane is the level of oxygenation: the highly oxegenated stuff is $20 +/- per gallon and can't be left in the vehicle because it will eat through metal.
I have used mostly VP and Sunoco race fuels, to race motorcycles.
